Deb Green is a casting director, writer, playwright and emerging producer.   A native of Montreal, she lived and worked in Calgary from 1981 to 2010 and now works out of B.C.'s Okanagan Valley.  Following in her family’s footsteps, she spent over ten years in arts administration, theatre administration and film before becoming a full-time casting director in 1996.

Her feature film credits include THE CLAIM, CHICKS WITH STICKS, RADIANT CITY, CRAZY CANUCKS, EVEREST, BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, and most recently LLOYD THE CONQUEROR.  In addition, she has cast numerous made-for-TV movies, docudramas, series TV, reality TV, and a kajillion commercials.

In 2008, she created Pentalpha Productions Inc. and co-produced the short film WATER UNDER THE BRIDGE with Phayzer Films.  She is now in development on several projects, including ITS ON THE HOUSE with White Iron Productions, and will soon launch her first solo web series, LOST AND FOUND.   Her screenplay INHERITANCE did very well on the scriptwriting festival circuit and is now being actively marketed for production.
