What is it about a particular song that makes you stop everything and just listen?

LICKS is a show for boomers, but also for anyone who loves classic tunes.  It will deconstruct incredible songs - those massive hits or seldom-heard sleepers - that defined our culture and helped shape our lives, songs that trigger our memories, make us stop and take us back.  We'll look at the origins of particular songs, their emotional impact on everyday people, what was happening in the world when they were a hit, how they affected cultural and societal norms, and why they continually stand the test of time.
