Two aging rival sisters, whose trust in one another is long gone, play out a deadly battle of perception versus truth as one sister struggles to claim her inheritance after the other is given control of the estate. Grace lives on a small disability pension, confined to a wheelchair by emphysema. Bette is a successful, healthy woman. But the enmity between the sisters is as strong as ever and it now appears that Bette is out to leave Grace with nothing. But are Bette's actions actually malicious or just the clouded perceptions of Grace's oxygen-deprived mind? What is truth and what is imagined? In a fast-paced race to find that truth, shocking revelations are revealed until a final showdown leads to an undeniable right of inheritance.
